I went to Althea's Boutique to get my groomsmen suits and bridesmaids dresses to be made. I gave them the design and they made exactly what I wanted. The service I received was absolutely spectacular, I always felt welcome in the store, everything was done on time. My wedding was like a Hollywood celebrity wedding because of Althea's Boutique. I was referred to Althea's Boutique by a friend who also received the best of services from the store and her wedding was one of the best weddings I've ever seen. So from deep down of my heart, I just want to say THANK YOU Althea's Boutique for making my wedding the greatest of ALL time. YOU ROCK. NB!! Please continue the wonderful work you do. I was completely disgusted with the service I got from the boutique! I had booked my bridesmaids dresses 7 months in advance with Maggie the shop assistant. Paid a deposit, got my ladies in for fittings, supplied colour samples for each dress and everything necessary to complete my order for our wedding in December 2012. After numerous phone calls and visits to the boutique 4 weeks before my big day I eventually got a hold of Maggie who nonchalantly informed me that the dresses were never made due to a problem with fabric suppliers and my chosen colours. NOT an apology or anything! Just that I can collect my deposit! When I asked why it had taken so long for her to inform me - All I was told was that Althea's boutique gets very busy towards the end of the year. Seriously disgusted with the level of UNPROFESSIONALISM!!! To pick up a phone to inform a client seemed to be such a hassle. For any bride this can be devastating! But the manner in which it was done is just plain Rude! With 4 weeks to have 4 dresses done - I am completely disappointed. I guess the business is def NOT as "wonderful" as I have raved to all my friends and family! Althea's Boutique has really showed me a business that "looks" good from the outside and is just terrible on the inside.... Decency is just a simple word that they do not understand:(( ⁄ 20 Nov
